Careers

The Careers Portfolio aims to supplement the services offered by the Australian School of Business and the Careers and Employment Office, acting as a support network for students to encourage and promote the professional development of all students.

A major focus of the Careers portfolio is to enhance the number and scale of careers events and projects in order to provide students with greater opportunities for skill building and career advancement. We will venture to improve the relationship between the student body and their potential employers, by working with firms to provide students with information beneficial to their personal career development. This will be facilitated through events that have both informative and socially-orientated aspects. More specifically, this information will relate to graduate and internship schemes, professional qualifications and the firm-specific employability of students.

Why do I need to register for BSOC Careers events?

The Careers team is more organized than ever this year! BBQs are some of our best events that allow you to meet employers and firm reps. To improve these BBQs we will need students to register online. This is so we can provide you name tags, contact you about location changes in the case of wet weather and ensure our food catering is correct.
