Peer Industry Mentoring Program [PIMP] Leader Applications Open Now!

Peer Industry Mentoring Program is a series of professional development workshops initiated by the Education Portfolio of the UNSW Business Society.  

These workshops are aimed towards students in their penultimate years aiming to obtain a spot in graduate positions in various different business related industries.  PIMP aims to develop the skills of students in the application process.  This includes writing resumes/cover letters, tackling online assessments, what to do in assessment centres, the actual interview and more.  
We are currently looking for PIMP leaders that possess the following attributes:
  • Went through the graduate/intern application process
  • Possess corporate experience in any related field
  • Passionate about helping younger students!
     
As a PIMP leader, your role includes the following:
  • Going through existing material on each teaching topic and providing extra input
  • Plan the 1 hour talk/lesson to students
  • Deliver the 1 hour talk/lesson to students
     
This should take no longer than 2-3 hours per week.

PIMP Workshops are scheduled to be held in weeks 2-5 of semester 1.  (Early March to early April).  Each session lasts for one hour and each week we will hold several sessions depending on availability of leaders.
