Peer Industry Mentoring Program [PIMP] Leader Applications Open Now!

Peer Industry Mentoring Program is back for another series of professional development workshops initiated by the Education Portfolio of the UNSW Business Society. 

These workshops are aimed towards students aiming to obtain an intern position in various different business related industries.  PIMP aims to develop the skills of students in the application process.  This includes writing resumes/cover letters, tackling online assessments, what to do in assessment centres, the actual interview and more. 

We are currently looking for PIMP leaders that possess the following attributes:
  • Went through the internship application process
  • Possess corporate experience in any related field
  • Passionate about helping younger students!
  •  

As a PIMP leader, your role includes the following:
  • Going through existing material on each teaching topic and providing extra input
  • Plan the 1 hour talk/lesson to students
  • Deliver the 1 hour talk/lesson to students
This should take no longer than 2-3 hours per week.

PIMP Workshops are scheduled to be held in weeks 2-4 of semester 2. Each session lasts for one hour and each week we will hold 2 sessions depending on availability of leaders.
