We are holding an Extraordinary General Meeting on Friday the 19th of March, starting from 5pm in the Society's Office at Quad1025. Items on the agenda include filling the final Marketing Director position. This is a great chance to see the inner workings of BSOC, make yourself known to the board and to get involved with YOUR constituent society.

We've had a great range of applications for our photographer! Thanks to all of those who have taken their time to apply, we'll be getting back to you within this week!
The 8 photographers for the Cruise will be given a $20 cash rebate upon the presentation of their photographs. From this group a select few will be inducted as officers to photograph the rest of our events throughout the year - BSXC, careers events.

To all BSOC members,
The BSOC Board is looking to recruit our final addition to the team in Week 3! The incoming marketing director will join a vibrant team of 23 executives and will be responsible for aiding BSOC in its various internal and external marketing initiatives. All candidates will be required to possess sufficient initiative and charisma to work on their own and in a team.
In order to qualify, all candidates must have previous experience working with BSOC either as a committee member or as a casual contributor/volunteer. If you satisfy the above criteria, please send a copy of your CV and cover letter to

by Friday, 12 March 2010 - detailing your previous contributions to the UNSW Business Society (or the former Commerce and Economics Society).
Candidates will be first screened to ensure they satisfy the selection criteria, then the final candidate will be selected by BSOC members through a closed ballot at the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM). The EGM will be held the following Friday 19 March at 5pm at a venue to be confirmed. An agenda will be sent to all members once the candidates have been confirmed.
