Want to become a BSOC camp leader or organiser?
Be a part of BSOC's first sell-out event and guide first year students into univeristy life.
We are looking for enthusiatic and responsible ASB undergraduates to apply for the role of camp leader or organiser.


To apply to be a leader or organiser:
1. Register for the website (Application forms are only accessible to registered users of this website so please take a minute to register) and sign in.
2. Download the application form via Recruitment (after you've logged in, scroll down to the bottom to available positions -> select Camp Leader/Organiser).

Duties of a camp leader:
- You'll be leading a group of 10-12 first year campees through a series of fun and challenging activities throughout the duration of the camp.
- As their first point of contact, you'll be responsible for ensuring the well-being of your campees and will be expected to make decisions with their best interest at heart.

Simply put, have fun with the first years and be a good role model! It's a great way to gain leadership and team-work experience.

Duties of a camp organiser:

- You'll be involved in the important planning and logistics aspects of the camp.
- Your main aim is to ensure that camp runs smoothly, minimizing the likelyhood of mishaps and being a senior role model that represents the ethos that BSOC entails.

Simply put, you'll be involved with the planning and execution of the event, having your part in the background work. A great way to enhance leadership and team-work experience.
